working with the SUBCONSCIOUS mind

the subconscious is in control

We operate mostly from repetition in life , everything we do is repeat behavior, this is extremely crucial to understand when trying to implement true change in our lives.

The subconscious mind is the habits and beliefs that control your daily life .

  • It controls 95% of thoughts, habits, emotions, and behaviors.

  • Functions:

    • Stores memories, beliefs, and conditioning.

    • Automates processes (breathing, walking, habits).

    • Interprets symbols, emotions, and energy.

    • Acts as the “bridge” between the conscious mind and the unconscious/higher self.

      thinking & Feeling

      • Conscious Mind (5%) → Logical, analytical, short-term thinking.

      • Subconscious Mind (95%) → Habits, beliefs, emotions, imagination.

      • Unconscious Mind → Deep storage of repressed memories, instincts, trauma.

      • Superconscious/Higher Self → Spiritual intelligence, intuition, quantum field connection.

Subconscious & Brain Waves

Your brain produces different frequencies depending on your state of awareness. These brain waves determine how much access you have to the subconscious

Beta (13–30 Hz)Waking state, logical thinking, stress, problem-solving.

  • Conscious mind dominates. Subconscious is less accessible.

  • Alpha (8–12 Hz)Relaxed, meditative, creative, “flow state.”

    • Doorway to the subconscious. Visualization and affirmations sink in deeply here.

  • Theta (4–7 Hz)Light sleep, deep meditation, hypnosis, daydreaming.

    • Subconscious is most open and impressionable.

    • Childhood (ages 0–7) is mostly spent in theta, which is why kids absorb beliefs so easily.

  • Delta (0.5–3 Hz)Deep sleep, regeneration, unconscious processes.

    • Subconscious is “in the driver’s seat.” Healing and reprogramming occur.

  • Gamma (30–100 Hz)High focus, peak performance, mystical experiences.

    • Connects subconscious with higher states of consciousness and intuition.

Programming the Subconscious

  • Through repetition: Habits, affirmations, consistent thought patterns.

  • Through emotion: Strong feelings (love, fear, trauma) imprint beliefs.

  • Through brain wave states: Subconscious is most programmable in alpha/theta (meditation, hypnosis, visualization, right before sleep, just after waking).

The Alignment Practice

  1. Practice free writing journaling : take a clean sheet of paper and thought dumb whatever comes to mind. Write of full page unedited, don’t overthink it, don’t try to make it pretty, write anything that your hand guides you to write .

  2. Practice Imaginary Journanling : take a clean sheet of paper , write about who you want to become in this life , what does this version of yourself feel like , what emotions , thoughts , and habits does this person embody.

Example: I feel joy and peace because I show up for myself everyday, I’ve been taking long walks , working out at the gym, cooking healthy foods. I have a vacation set net month to France and im excited that my life feels abundant! I feel like a new person , finally everything I’ve ever dreamed of is starting to unfold in a beautiful way.

  3. Sit in Meditation : Create Scenes in your head of your imaginary journal prompts , everything you write make it a scene that feels like a movie. How does it feel ? Who are you with? What colors stand out to you ? Don’t overthink it just let your imagination carry you to the destination.

  4. Hold the Identity & frequency through the day : It doesn’t stop when you end your mediation, throughout the day stay in the Identity of the person you are becoming . Notice negative thinking and catch it , remind yourself that you don’t align with that old story about yourself. Tell yourself that you are not your thoughts, emotions , and pain.

Say to yourselfI am Separate from my thoughts”

My emotions don’t control me “ “ I am becoming the person I want to be , and this takes time
