The Grip

“When you follow your bliss, doors will open where there were only walls.” — Joseph Campbell

The longer you hold tight to the life that was curated from programming, other people’s expectations of you, and lack, the more you deeply crave something you can’t put into words. To admit that you are nothing like you had imagined yourself to be opens the questions “Who am I? What do I actually want, Why am I here? “.It feels like tugging on a seam of clothing, one thread leads to another until the life you carefully stitched together begins to unravel. On this journey we meet another paradox … What you feel will break you, will be the very thing that frees you. When you loosen your grip, you let go of the life of limitation, control, and fear. The Universe can’t give the desires of the heart to a closed fist. When you let go you are allowing unfiltered; unlimited possibilities to align to a more authentic version of you.

The shedding process of your old life is no joke, but the only way out is through. The moment you start to take the path of authenticity you are in limbo of wanting to give up and just settle for the life you had, because of how much you have denied yourself to feel accepted by others. You realize that everything that once defined you feels foreign. You may lose interest in friendships, jobs, religion, beliefs. You can’t go back to who you were; but you can’t see who you’re becoming.

Your nervous system starts to calm as you unravel parts of yourself you didn’t even know existed …and even though your body may feel lost, your spirit becomes alive. There’s a deep quiet that comes once the struggle softens. You start to sense new energy stirring; a subtle excitement, an intuitive whisper, a glimpse of who you’re becoming.

The mind thinks letting go means you are creating chaos, we have been programmed to force and control outcomes. The human brain is wired to keep us safe with only the tools the World gives us. We forget that there is more possibility in the unseen (spiritual world).

Be still and know that I am God.”  Psalm 46:10
(Stillness, not struggle, is the foundation of true peace.)

When you stop chasing after life and ease into the gifts that were placed in your soul you no longer must force freedom, financial security, and acceptance. You now understand that they are your birthright. Aligning to who you really are intrinsically unlocks your purpose and will to live. When you loosen your grip and surrender everything finds you naturally, without strain or struggle.

Abandon all attachment to the results of action and attain supreme peace.”   Bhagavad Gita 5:12

When nothing is done, nothing is left undone.”  Tao Te Ching, Chapter 48

The initiation is when your desires become louder than your fears, loosening your grip becomes the only option.
You lose certainty but gain clarity.
You stop controlling but become guided by the version of you who always knew the way to personal freedom.
You transcend all limitation and learn that fear is just an illusion to keep you trapped. You transform into the most unfiltered authentic version of yourself and never look back.
