beauty for ashes
Give beauty for ashes, joy for mourning, praise for the spirit of heaviness, that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord that he might be glorified.
Isaiah 61:3
For the days that feel heavy, and the world seems to not be on your side. Standing for the life you desire can mostly feel like you are standing still, waiting for proof that all your intention and spiritual work will materialize. What I have found is usually hours before my manifestation becomes made in the light, I feel the most dark, heavy, and despondent. I now give myself grace in knowing that my old beliefs are rooted below the surface like an old tree. I’ve been rooted in my old frequency longer than I’ve been alive. Just like the leaves that wither in autumn and fall to the ground, I am shedding my old patterns, beliefs, and my current reality.
This is the time to give joy for mourning because the old version of self is dying and that is why you feel pain… because you are no longer running from pain, you are killing the part of you that no longer aligns with the life you are calling in. Giving beauty for ashes is transmuting the heaviness into a deep knowing that it all works out for your greater good.
So when the weight feels unbearable, remember: you are not breaking down, you’re are breaking free. The soil is being stirred so new roots can take ground. What once felt like loss is the sacred clearing for what is coming alive in you. Trust the shedding. Stay rooted in stillness. And keep your heart open because the beauty that’s blooming through you is already on its way.
